Martina

Certified Grof® Breathwork facilitator.

My lifelong fascination with the human body and its capacity for self-healing led me to study medicine, specializing in dentistry. Dentistry is a field where many people experience fear, anxiety, and a loss of control. During my studies, I realized that alongside clinical expertise, how a person feels during treatment matters just as deeply to me. My aim was to become a physician who guides patients with respect, calm, and empathy.

Since 2016, I have been studying the therapeutic potential of expanded states of consciousness. I was drawn to this work through my own experiences and a long-standing interest in connecting the body, mind, and natural healing processes.

I graduated from the Grof Legacy Training program focused on transpersonal psychology and Grof® Breathwork. I integrate these principles with my medical background and modern insights into consciousness, the nervous system, and human psychology.

Based primarily in Czechia, I facilitate workshops and individual sessions focused on safe and conscious work with expanded states of consciousness. In my practice, I bridge a medical foundation with deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Trained assistant — three-year training completed, certification pending.

For a long time, I assumed my professional life would center around software engineering or other technical challenges, and working closely with people wasn't initially on my radar. That perspective began to shift in 2014 when I first encountered the books of Stanislav Grof. I was deeply intrigued, though I held immense respect for the depth of the work.

In 2018, I attended my first Grof® Breathwork session, with the privilege of experiencing it directly under the guidance of Stanislav Grof himself. Over time, further experiences with holotropic states of consciousness revealed to me their extraordinary therapeutic and self-exploratory potential.

In 2021, I enrolled in the Grof Legacy Training program and also began leading people in a professional context. I realized that guiding and supporting people resonated far more with me than technical work alone. I completed all modules of the three-year training; my final certification module was deferred due to the birth of my second daughter, with certification planned for 2028.

In 2026, I completed training in Rites of Passage led by Dr. Arne Rubinstein. I am incorporating these skills into my practice to support individuals through major life transitions.
