Cancellation & Refund Terms

Our approach: judged individually, not by a fixed scale

We don't publish a fixed cancellation fee schedule or a deadline table. If you need to cancel, or if we do, we work it out with you individually based on the situation. That's more generous than a fixed scale, but it does mean the sections below describe our commitments rather than a table of percentages.

If we cancel the workshop

If we have to cancel a workshop — for example because of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances — everyone with a confirmed or pending booking for that date gets a full refund.

If a health screening finds a reason you can't take part

Your booking is confirmed once your payment arrives, but attending the workshop also depends on your health-screening review. If that review finds something that means we can't safely include you, we'll decline your place and refund the full amount you already paid, as soon as we can arrange the bank transfer. We'll always talk this through with you personally rather than send a form letter.

If you don't complete payment

A booking is held for you for 72 hours while we wait for your bank transfer, exactly as your booking confirmation says. If payment doesn't arrive in that window, the hold simply expires: you owe nothing, you don't need to do anything, and there's no penalty. You're welcome to book again whenever suits you.

Your statutory right to change your mind

Under Czech consumer law (§1837 písm. j) of the Civil Code), a leisure service like ours that's supplied on a fixed date is exempt from the usual 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to most distance contracts. We're telling you this rather than relying on it quietly: legally, once you've booked and paid, we would not be obliged to refund you if you simply changed your mind close to the date.

In practice, we go further than the law requires. If you need to cancel, tell us as soon as you can, and we'll work out with you, case by case, what's fair given the timing and the circumstances — we'd rather find a good outcome together than hide behind an exemption.
