A Guided Path Back to Yourself
Grof® Breathwork (formerly Holotropic Breathwork) is a guided method of self-exploration created by Stanislav and Christina Grof, using accelerated breathing, evocative music and quiet integration afterwards. Think of it like turning down the background noise in a room so you can finally hear what's being said — the breath doesn't add anything new, it simply lets what's already inside you come through more clearly. In a calm space, over a few guided hours, that clarity can bring real relief, insight and a sense of ease.
How It Helps
- Emotional release — a safe, guided way to let go of stress and feelings you've been carrying, instead of carrying them alone.
- Clarity — see old patterns and habits with a bit of distance, so they're easier to understand and loosen.
- Stress reduction — help a nervous system stuck in "go" mode settle into genuine rest and presence.
- Reconnection — reconnect with what actually matters to you, beyond the daily to-do list.
What to Expect
You're never on your own. Every session is guided from start to finish by our facilitation team, in a quiet room prepared with mats and pillows. You're paired with another participant who watches over you while you breathe, and music carries the arc of the session throughout. You stay in control the whole time — you can slow down, pause, or stop whenever you need to. Afterwards, there's space to quietly integrate what came up, including drawing and, if you'd like, sharing with the group.
Common Questions
Is Grof® Breathwork a form of therapy?
No. It's a structured self-exploration practice, not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment. If you're managing a diagnosed physical or mental health condition, please talk to your doctor or therapist before booking — we also review a short health screening form with every participant after payment, and follow up personally if anything needs more attention.
Do I need any experience with breathwork or meditation?
None at all. You just need a willingness to lie down, breathe, and let the process unfold. Our facilitation team guides you through everything on the day.
What if the experience feels too intense?
You set the pace. You can slow your breathing, pause, or stop at any point, and a facilitator is always close by. You're never left to manage a difficult moment alone.
Is it safe?
Sessions run in small groups, guided throughout by our facilitation team. Because accelerated breathing isn't right for everyone, everyone fills in a health screening form after payment, which we review carefully and follow up on personally if needed.
